I don’t believe that somewhere lies a truth that says this is the way things are suppose to be. As if there was a definite rule that must be followed for all of mankind. We should be encouraged to know, our experience is unique, and within our dance lies the power to write the song. [...]
When we consciously decide to ignore and rise above the indecency or negativity of others, their influence will fade away from our life experience.
Remember, ultimately it is you who decides what affects your emotional well being as you create your experience; don’t give away your power for inner peace.
Other people will always create their own definition of who I am. But honestly, what does their opinion have anything to do with the definition I choose to give my self. If I let other people define who I am, I give over the power to create my own life.
We have been conditioned to believe our strength is outside of ourselves; we have given power over to our jobs, stifling our own creative genius; we have placed our trust in a paycheck rather than our hearts; we have been dishonest in exchange for ‘job’ security.
